Sep 7, 2017

Three Jacksonville Armada FC players were placed on the NASL Team of the Week after Sunday's matchup in New York. The Armada FC took the first-ever victory in New York against the Cosmos, playing to a 2-0 end.

Caleb Patterson-Sewell earned his spot as goalkeeper on the Team of the Week after stopping five chances by New York to shut out the home team.

Kalen Ryden's strong defensive presence also helped in the shut out. He made seven clearances and won seven of his duels. He also won three tackles and made a pair of interceptions in Jacksonville's win.

Ciarán Kilduff, a recent addition to the team, scored his first goal for Jacksonville just before halftime to cement the Armada FC's lead.

The Armada FC will next return to New York again on Sunday, Sept. 17 for another matchup with the Cosmos. Tune in on CW17 (Jacksonville), CW18 (Orlando), and ESPN3 (Nationally). Saturday's match at Hodges Stadium with Indy Eleven was rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m.
