Armada FC Celebrates the United States Navy This Saturday

The Jacksonville Armada FC is hosting Naval Appreciation Night to celebrate the United States military branch that is not only so important to the First Coast, but the one that helped to inspire the Armada FC brand itself.

Tickets have been generously donated to members of the Navy for the match on Saturday, April 15 against the San Francisco Deltas. Donors include Pajcic & Pajcic Personal Injury Firm and the P5 Group.

Additional discounted tickets for all retired and active-duty military can be purchased over the phone or at the match by showing a military ID.

Armada FC is proud to have two representatives from each Navy base in the area to serve as Honorary Team Captains for the match. LS1 Vitalese Aigbokhan, NRSE and RCC AEAN Steven Dunbar will represent Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Petty Officer Second Class Aaron Montalbo and Petty Officer Second Class Sebastian Castano will represent Naval Station Mayport. Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay will also be represented by Hospital Corpsman Henry Ogbaoku and Hospital Corpsman Austin Davidson.

Navy Counselor First-Class Marlene Ciesielsk will take the field to sing the national anthem.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. against the top two teams in the North American Soccer League. Members of the Navy will be able to enjoy buy-one-get-one beers before the match against the Deltas on the concourse behind sections 108-110.

All fans are invited to the official Postgame Party at Blackfinn Ameripub that will begin immediately after the match. Guests that show their Armada FC ticket from Saturday will receive a complimentary drink. The first 20 fans to show their ticket at the bar will also receive a souvenir Armada glass!
