Join the Armada FC as Preseason Kicks Off This Saturday with an Intersquad Scrimmage

The Jacksonville Armada FC will give fans their first live look at the 2017 roster when they face off in an intersquad scrimmage at Patton Park

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Armada FC will take the field for the first time since the end of the 2016 season when they host an intersquad scrimmage at Patton Park this Saturday at 4 p.m.

The scrimmage will be free and open to the public, and fans are encouraged to come out to get a glimpse of the 2017 roster.  The Armada FC have signed 10 new players since the start of 2017 and Saturday’s match will be their debut with the club. There are seven returning players from the 2016 roster: Mechack Jérôme, Kevan George, Niklas Maripuu, Jemal Johnson, Charles Eloundou, Derek Gebhard and Danny Barrow. 

The Armada FC newcomers include defenders Peabo Doue, Aaron Pitchkolan, Kalen Ryden, Michael O’Sullivan and Drew Beckie.  The new midfield additions include J.C. Banks, Jack Blake and Bryam Rebellón.  The Armada FC also added forward Jonathan Glenn and goalkeeper Caleb Patterson-Sewell. 

*Parking for Saturday’s match and all preseason matches at Patton Park will be free for all those who attend.

The Armada FC will take the pitch again next Saturday, February 25, at 4 p.m. when they face Flagler College at Patton Park.  The friendly next Saturday will be free and open to the public.
